Time Travel

I think there are hundreds of movies and books written about this fantasy that has captured human imagination for a long time, it’s time travel. Wouldn’t it be amazing if we could really travel back in time, it won’t be amazing but terrific, think about all the time that can be saved, all that money that can earned, we would be even able to see how our parents looked when they were babies, and lots of other things if time travel is possible. But is time travel actually possible by any means, well this question has existed ever since the beginning of science, many scientists have spent their lifetimes thinking about it and many experimenters have lost their lives trying weird experiments to travel back in time.

But actually by which I mean theoretically it is very much possible but it won’t be that easy as they show in the movies, in fact no human can survive the time travel and we can’t control it by some buttons and switches either, its quite complicated. See in the universe time and all other dimensions are bent due to a few things with immense gravitational field known as the ‘black holes’.  As time bends and curves along its path of travel it sort of ends up creating a loop, that is, time will always be continuos and restart itself from point in plain English it will repeat itself.

The idea of time travel is that if we some how manage to get into one of those loops we might be able travel either forward or backward in time. So there you go it’s theoretically possible, but I wouldn’t even dare enter such a loop, because practically the probability of you getting out alive or even dead is completely none. God alone knows how fast that loop will be, second once you enter though you will never get old you can neither come out and will be eternally trapped in time travel, third who knows where it will lead us imagine exiting near an ‘about to explode supernova’ hmmm that could be real nasty. So n the future if some alien comes around a spaceship and ask you to accompany it in time travel “BEWARE” its better to just watch those sci-fi movies instead of getting trapped for eternity with some creature that eats slugs.

How Did We Get Here

A really confusing question isn’t it, let me ask it more clearly how did we end up in a planet that has water, oxygen, an atmosphere and importantly supports life forms. Well the answer is a really huge one and would it really take years for you to really understand it but we can really put it very short just for us to have an idea, so don’t worry. Well to begin with we all came from nothing; yes absolutely nothing, at least from something that probably looked like a dot at the end of his sentence. That single point contained everything there was no space outside or time or in fact nothing was not forming outside that dot.

Everything was just waiting inside it for billions of years, but suddenly something happened the dot suddenly started expanding and within few seconds this whole universe was formed, and stars and planets were building up themselves. May seem something like a fantasy story but it’s how it all happened, may be a series of many experiments took place before this and this final one turned out to be perfect and the universe stayed stable, and still continues to be till today.

The we come to our own solar system, almost 99% of all matter was used up in making our dear sun, 3% of other materials were used up in creating Jupiter and Saturn and the leftovers were used to make the other planets, quite disappointing that we were made from leftovers but hey we have the final laugh, the interesting part was that we never had a moon in the beginning, while all others had, but something the size of Mars came and collided with our surface and flung enough material in to space to create a moon, quite fascinating isn’t it.

The Dawn Of The Nuclear Age

This seems obvious doesn’t it, a technology that seemed almost impossible to handle and sought to be only as a weapon of destruction is now just a step away from entering our homes. Even without our knowledge we have entered into the age of nuclear power. The age old faithful fossil fuels are at last coming to an end and the best of our last few options available for alternative energy is nuclear power. Almost half of the electricity that is being produced is only from nuclear plants spread across the nation, a large no of naval ships and submarines use nuclear fuels to keep them afloat, even many essential mining facilities use small controlled nuclear explosives for digging. And scientists are working long and hard to make them even more practically useful.

Though it may have a number of advantages it seriously is very hazardous to the whole man kind, first we don’t have an complete knowledge about these radioactive thing actually we waste almost 85% of the nuclear fuel and just make use of the rest, and second they are one hell of a lot stubborn and take centuries to decompose so their disposal is very complicated and often they are disposed quite carelessly and obviously they are extremely dangerous just one nuclear explosion can cause a damage all that it tried so hard to create. But never the less everything has its own risk and so does the nuclear fuel but danger or not it is the last hope we have at least until some other thing is found.

Wheels Does It

Right from the beginning of civilization man really had only one trouble, it was the problem of moving himself around, cause in those times food and water were not that abundant and he had to settle himself and his people around the valleys and riversides. If there was any problem or war he had to walk miles just see another source of water. Then he began with the idea of using animals to do his job, but that didn’t work out very well either. So he thought of new ideas, and the most successful of them was the invention of wheels, it is said he or probably she found the circular objects that we use today by observing coconuts (which are elliptical) falling to the ground running towards the slope.

So hence the wheel was invented, and what an invention it is, even till today we can boast it as one of the greatest invention man has ever created, it is completely out of this world not even nature or evolution has thought about it (that’s why we still don’t have circular legs) also maybe that’s why the aliens haven’t reached us yet they might still be running around with their legs. Today everything runs on wheels, the world would come to a stand still (literally) if there were no wheels, it makes transportation from one place to another possible, functions of almost all machines depend on wheels, in short only wheels make the whole concept of motion possible. No matter how far we proceed into the future this simple invention from the stone age will always be monumental one.

In To The Future

In this modern world, future is the most exciting thing that could ever happen, with everyday dawning with some new technology being invented, and science revealing something new everyday, future is expected to be more and more beneficial to us. Now, is it really?, yes maybe, we will have some hovercrafts flying above our heads, some really tall and high buildings, and artificially intelligent creatures like they show in ‘jetsons’ all this maybe fascinating but doctors think otherwise, they believe that the human anatomy will undergo some serious changes due to all these new inventions.Due to our increased usage of vehicles to transport ourselves and our reducing physical activities will make our legs too weak to even support their own weight and our belly might become so enormous that we may even look like some kind of Panda.

In the future many are expected to be born with vision impairments and really enlarged head to accommodate the highly evolved brain and also may have a couple of variations In the brain arrangement so as to cope with all the existing technologies that would exist at that time. So finally with all that future weird changes the future man might look like something from an outer planet. Though equal medicines will be found to support such abnormalities really what’s the point of destroying ourselves, and finding medicines for them and again destroying ourselves with some other invention, why can’t we just be happy about what we have. Think about it. Future will have no meaning if we are not in it. At this rate one can be damn sure we won’t be there in future to enjoy it at least not in our current form.
